SUNRISE

let the dark clouds give way

for it is sunrise at bay

In it’s orangy glow

peeping from the clouds

paying homage to moonlight’s reign

making its way to majestically light up the day.

blessing the flowers to bloom and the birds to sing

heralding newness and dawn of hope

so let the sunrise in orangy splendor

casting is golden rays all around us.
